Where was I ...

I know it been a while seen I posted last. I guess I have been lazy. Since the last time I posted me and Carrie have been having a glad time. During the end of the summer we went up to Trillium Lake a couple of time for the day and would come home at night. I enjoy it a lot. I go fishing and take picture and stuff. Carrie would go fishing and paint. Then in the evening we cook dinner and watch the camp fire. I liked taking picture of the coals as they burned. I think it is cool to see the different colors and the wood glowing at night. It is beautiful up there but when we went it was cloudy so we could see Mt. Hood. On the last time we were there the clouds cleared alway before we left and we could see a lot of stars. It was cool.

Since then we have hanging out. Waiting for it to snow so we can go back up to Mt. hood and go inner tube. We like Ski Bowl the best. Work is going well. I think that is all for now.

Last Week

This last week I was off from work so me and Carrie spent some time together and enjoying the nature. On tuesday we went up to Trillium Lake. We had lunch, I went fishing and Carrie painted. It was nice and there was a lot of people. The lake was warm so I went swimming for a while. On the way back we went to Dairy Queen. I had a good time and so did Carrie.

On Thursday through Sunday we went to Oxbox Park with some friends. The weather was really nice but the water was freezing cold. It was a nice time to relax and do nothing. There was a lot of deer and they where really tame. They mustknow that it not hurting season are something. Also there wasn't much bugs which is always nice.

Catching up

I guess miss MC keeps on asking Carrie when I got to post next. So in the famous words of Carrie, Never. Just kinding.
Last week I went with Carrie to Timothy Lake to spent the afternoon and evening. I had a good time playing with the new boat, drawing, cooking dinner, and other things that I can not say. There was a lot of bugs and I left with about fifteen bug bites.

Also on Fathers dad I went over to my sister house and had lunch with the family. This last picture is of my nephew. He was going down the hill on his scooter with some type of bag on his head, pointing his plastic bat forward and yelling something. It was funny.

You want more Ducks, I'll give you more Ducks

We did see some ducks at the park but I think these were only two.

Also at another park this is the famous trees stump. According to Carrie tree sap dries, But we learned later on that it doesn't.

Last week me and Carrie went out to a park called George Henry Park. It is where Oswego lake follow into the Willimatte. It is a cool park with a really woodsy part and a beach section. There was a lot of goose and ducks. One time while I was walking on the trail I bent over to take a picture of a spotted slugs. Carrie hates slugs and she didn't see what I was looking at. So she came over and saw the slug. Then she freaked and ran about a hundreds yelling the whole time. It was pretty funny.

Fish On

To begin well a steelhead is a trout that swam from the rivers out to the ocean. The little trout stay in the ocean getting big for two to four years. Then when old enough to reproduce they swim back up though the rivers. When they get back in the rivers there only mission is to get back to where they where born in start new babies. After they are done with they die so they don't eat the food for the baby fish. This is why they are hard to catch, they are not to instead in eating, just breeding. There are two different times of the year that steelhead come up the river. The winter run is from January to march and the summer run is in june to july, I think. During the rest of the year they is fishing for other types of fish. Chinook salmon starting to run right now, coho go on September, trout and bass in the summer, and Sturgeon all year long,

I realize that I better blog today so I can do my once a month. A few weeks ago me and Murray with fishing at Oxbow Park and him caught a nice looking steelhead. It was a native so he had to put it back in the river. He had a good time and so did I. Since then Murray went out to Europe and I decided that since I'm not the best fisherman I will fishing for trout instead because they are easier to catch. I think that I am to too impatient to fishing for steelhead until more come into the river.

Things are going good for me and Carrie. I am really glad to see that she is enjoying life and water painting. God has taught me a lot throught her. And I am learning new things too. Like it not good to attack the field mice with the weed eater.
Also we have gone bowling a few times the last couple of weeks and that has been a lot of fun. The last time she beat me pretty bad. I'll just have to try harder next time.
